Unit is a banking-as-a-service platform exposing deposit accounts, debit cards, payments, and lending through one API, with a partner bank holding the deposits.
It covers account opening with KYC and KYB, card issuance in virtual and physical form, ACH, wire, and cheque payments, and a real-time ledger with webhooks. Because a partner bank holds customer funds, the deposit relationship and its reconciliation model sit with that bank rather than with Unit.
